Application Form

Please, fill out the GAU application form and send it to the following address: admissions@gau.ge. The application form contains detailed step-by-step information on how to fill it in, and guides you through the process. Applications should be completed and sent as soon as possible to ensure full and timely consideration of your admission.

 

ATTACH REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

 

• The notarial copies of your academic record from your current or recent studies (or University if you are a transfer or visiting student) and its supplement (official transcript of grades);
• A notarial copy of your passport;
• A passport-sized photo;

All documents that the Admissions department requires must be translated in English. For any questions please do not hesitate to email us at: admissions@gau.ge.

 

WHEN WE RECEIVE YOUR APPLICATION

 

We will send an acknowledgment of receipt within two weeks of receiving application. If you have not received an acknowledgment after two weeks, please contact us at the following address: admissions@gau.ge. During this stage, the Admissions Committee reviews your application and evaluates your documents and determines whether or not you must have a personal interview. If required, Admissions Department will arrange an online interview with all successful candidates.

 

The interview will allow us to get to know you better and assess specific characters that are not directly apparent from the documentation you have provided, such as your personality, your capacity to represent your point of view, the way you express yourself, and other communication skills. The Admissions Committee is made up of university staff members who value your suitability as an applicant.

 

COMMITTEE DECISION

 

You will be informed of the GAU Admissions Committee’s decision together with the acknowledgement of receipt of your application documents.

 

You need to consider that the fact that you have been admitted to GAU does not mean you are guaranteed a place on the program until your documents are verified and recognized by the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia and you have paid the tuition fee. At that time GAU will then send an enrollment confirmation letter (for visa). 

 

THE RECOGNITION OF FOREIGN EDUCATION AT THE NATIONAL CENTER FOR EDUCATIONAL QUALITY ENHANCEMENT (2 WEEKS)

 

The Center verifies the authenticity of an educational document, issued by a foreign institution and establishes the compatibility of the qualification, contained in this document or the learning outcomes, attained during the period of study with the qualifications, existing in Georgia.
