Constitutionalism, Civil Society Democracy Center at GAU Law, Social Sciences and Diplomacy School (Institute) is a structural entity of GAU. The Center's main objective is to conduct scientific research for the development of the sciences of Constitutionalism and Constitutional Law, namely:
- Study of Legal and political philosophy issues;
- Study of conceptual framework of the Governmental organization and analysis;
- Study of state principles and analysis (study of majoritarian and democratic institutional models);
- Study and analysis of the correlation of Freedom, Equalty and Order values and Public arsenal problems; Analysis of political socialization; Influence and the results of Popular opinion and mass media on the socialization process; study of the issues of the identity of political parties, legal-political culture and elaboration of relevant scientific recommendations; Analysis of election law and practice;
- Political participation in elections and political and legal culture and the guaranties for the society;
- Resources of lobbying and groups of interest in Georgia and their effect on legal – political events;
- Comparative study of federalism and regionalism;
- The dynamics of the ideas of federalism and practice in Georgian reality;
- Study and analysis of the issues of state bureaucracy and informal politics;
- Interaction of the court and democratic models.
