''GeoLab'' opening at GAU

GeoLab was born on GAU’s 10 Year Jubilee.

GeoLab is an innovative mobile and web applications laboratory which will work for 24 hours. In South Caucasus this is the only Technology Institute which is created in collaboration of GAU with GeoCell, Leavingstone and Georgia’s Innovation and Technology Agency.

In GeoLab students are able to create services and products for Business, learn about future profession.

At the presentation which was held at GAU Georgian Vice Prime-Minister and the Minister for the Ministry of Economics and Sustainable Development of Georgia Giorgi Kvirikashvili, The Ambassador of the United States of America Richard Norland, The head of Georgia’s Innovation and Technology agency Irakli Kashibadze, General Director of GeoCell Pavel Smalinski, Representative of Leavingstone Vakhtang Vakhtangishvili and the President of the Georgian American University R.Michael Cowgill talked about the goals of GeoLAb.

The course will last 3 months and includes 5 subjects:

• IT
• Electronic Platforms
• Project Management Programing
