CELEBRATING 23 YEARS OF GEORGIAN AMERICAN FRIENDSHIP

On 23 April GAU celebrated Georgian American relationship 23 years.

The president of AmCham conducted public lecture. Sara Williamson talked about two countries relationship, American support, democracy and economic principles. Beside this, She shared her own experience and remembered the time when she arrived at Tbilisi with her georgian husband. Cultural shock, non light, no water and ''Wild Wild East”… Auditory was very amused by personal examples.

Sarah Williamson is the first women president of American Chamber of Commerce. She remarked GAU student’s poster, which was made for this day and in which was mother of Georgia and Statue of Liberty. Sarah Williamson joked that this 2 countries have a good relationship because symbols of this countries are Women.

The president of AmCham noticed that this day must be celebrated at Georgian American University. 

At the end GAU Band performed by National Hymn of this two countries.
